I am two footed

I took the advice of everyone and listed the shoes that I purchased that were mixed sizes. You may remember that I purchased three pair of shoes at an estate sale and they were two different sizes. I have most of them listed and they have been just sitting there. I did get one inquiry from Hong Kong about one, but they thought it was a pair. I guess the lower price is so tempting that they don't read the entire title.

That's what happened this time.

This is the message I received:

"I just received this item only to discover that it just one foot and I am two footed. I never took note of the fact that it is one foot and was stated so. I would like to return the shoe please."

This was the title:

Mens 8M Rockport Loafer Brown Leather LEFT Shoe Only Amputee Crutches

This was the picture:

Let me recap.
Picture of ONE shoe
LEFT shoe only in title
Stated again in listing ONE shoe only

When this sold I almost emailed to make sure that he was aware that is was one shoe. I didn't because I didn't want to be insensitive.

My gut told me to call.

I should have listened.

  3. People simply don't read anymore. Or maybe they don't comprehend. I just got a return on a pair of shoes because they didn't fit her size 8 foot. They were size 7! It was clear in the title and description. Wanted me to pay the return shipping because they were "defective". She didn't open a case, just contacted me directly. I paid her return shipping because it was either that or not get her to agree to a mutual cancellation. Sometimes it doesn' matter what we do...

    1. I am so tired of customers complaining that I am wrong about everything and they did nothing wrong. I know I make mistakes, but I refuse to take responsibility for the buyer not reading the listing or looking at the pictures. I just had a return where the buyer returned the item and ranted (on and on) about how she didn't see my return policy until she was ready to return the item. Its there, ebay won't let you sell without a return policy.. Even if it is no returns. I guess ebay sides with the buyer so ofter that the buyers now demand whatever they can dream up and ebay just goes along with the buyer.
Next time you sell a pair of size 7 shoes to a size 8 buyer you need to consult your crystal ball to see if they will fit!!!
